After graduating from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s in History, Katherine Eyster was hired as a Ford Fellow in Wesleyan’s Writing Programs. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing the university’s distinguished Writing Workshop, training and managing 90 undergraduate tutors, and serving as the university’s chief writing tutor. She has won several prizes and scholarships for her writing. She has also collaborated with several community organizations in order to help develop programming aimed at teaching high school and college students the craft of analytical writing.
Having worked as a reader for the Office of Admissions, she also has unique perspective on how to craft a compelling college essay.
